WHO: Heating up the Baja is in its 9th year running. 2020 is our first Online Event.  It is a charity event to aide Missions Network International in carrying on the work they are doing in the Baja of Mexico with the Children at Mount of Olives Children’s Village and with families in the surrounding area. Please be generous. Donations made using the Donate Now button or the Sponsor a Child button are 100% receipt-able for tax purposes in Canada or the USA.

WHAT: This Year, we are holding 5 Simultaneous Online Auctions in 5 Key Locations, Prescott Valley, Arizona, Visalia California, Lynden Washington, Abbotsford BC, Lethbridge AB. Each location has a specific 6 digit invite code. See invite above for the codes. Feel free to join one or all the auctions, Items must be picked up from the auctions designated pick up location or you must arrange and pay for shipping of your items.

WATCH: There will be a series of interviews, photos and specials items you can watch thru our website or on our social media sites. Noon Sunday September 20, our Programming will begin on, Facebook and instagram. The outline for the week will be available on these sites closer to the event’s start. Stay tuned in to get the latest updates.

WHERE: Join on your device or through the Web on your computer through their App.  Once you have the app installed choose join an Auction and type in the 6 digit invite code from the list above.

If you are unable to access the App and the Auctions but wish to participate and bid on an item, please contact Ruth Penner 604-217-1454 to arrange to have an Administrator bid on your behalf.

WIN PRIZES: There will be a Prize Draw of all “Early Bird” registered bidders on September 14. There will be a second Prize Draw on September 18 for the “Just in Time” registered bidders. Winners will be notified by email.

On Sunday September 20 after the Auctions have opened, we will do Prize Draw of all the First Bidders. This draw will take place at 8PM PST. So if, for example, you have placed the first bid on 6 items you will receive 6 entries into the draw.

The Fine Print: is the platform we have chosen for the Auctions as it is user friendly, secure and accessible. Please allow notifications once you are signed into the Bidbeacon app you will receive updates on the event and also be notified of your bid status and when the final hour is starting as a reminder to check your bids. Each confirmed bid is an actual bid and a commitment to buy the item at that price if you are not out bid by another bidder. The bid can not be retracted or edited after you have clicked confirm. Please bid carefully.

Bidbeacon does not store or have access to any of your financial information, all payments are processed through our secure links with PayPal and funds go directly to Missions Network International. Alternately you may arrange to bring cash or check for payment on pick up. Payment for all purchases must be made before or at pick up. Each auction will have a specific pick up location and all items must be picked up at that location by September 30. If you are unable to pick up your purchase you must arrange shipping with the Auction Administrator (listed below). All shipping costs are your responsibility.
